PPE Reimbursement is now Available for Home Care Workers!

Last year, caregivers like us joined allies all across the state and country to advocate for the CARES Act, providing some funding relief for home care workers and our communities. As part of those funds, our fiscal agent, Public Partnerships (PPL) applied for and was awarded an additional $52 million to provide PPE reimbursements to 165,000 caregivers across the country who worked during the COVID-19 pandemic, including caregivers here in Pennsylvania!!

Pennsylvania’s Participant-Directed direct care workers who worked over 4 days per month from March 1, 2020 – January 31, 2021 are eligible to receive as much as $41/month in reimbursement. Together we are making a difference. The link to sign up for your PPE reimbursement is below. And, while here, join our home care movement– the United Homecare Workers of PA– to continue the fight for $15 per hour, affordable health coverage, and training for home caregivers.

Pennsylvania’s Participant-Directed (those working through PPL) direct care workers have until June 15, 2021 to verify their eligibility and submit for reimbursement.
